I retrieved my wallet with my seed using the GUI wallet, and I was then asked to create a private passphrase. I created a new one. Then, I was able to get my wallet properly, but I can't create a new account, I have a message saying "invalid passphrase for master private key". when I type my new private passphrase.

The loss is most likely due to my own novice security setup, but I'm posting this for reference just in case there could be more to it. These two transactions have appeared in my staking wallet, draining some but not all of the spendable funds:

So I was playing with it to make it work, and I tried without putting any wallet passphrase (except the dcrd u/p)... and it works!

I'm really puzzled by this.

What gives?

These words are simple, no salt among them.
Using any dictionary allows somebody to bruteforce seed data to random wallet.

- seed ?

- dcr wallet psw (the one used in wallet creation )?

- only encrypted information related to the software functionality but not accessible.
