Hi,

I've neglected Decred for a few years now (yes, i'm sorry about that!) and now I'm trying to recover my coins. I don't appear to have backed up my seed, or at least I can't find it. But I do have a Paymetheus wallet backup and all the passwords for that.

My question is how do I recover my wallet? Installing the old client didn't work because it is looking for the old RPC chain that I guess doesn't exist anymore.

Hi,
I recently got a new computer and installed Decrediton 1.6.0. When I try to buy a ticket, I am getting this:

Error: 2 UNKNOWN: wallet.PurchaseTicketsWithResponse: insufficient balance:: individualSplit:: txauthor.NewUnsignedTransaction

I also noticed that all my tickets since December 2020 have been revoked. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Disappearing Cgminer Bat And Exe Files

I downloaded CGminer to use with my Gekkoscience NewPac (I know, but I'm using it to learn). My problem is bat and/or exe files will disappear. I have turned off antivirus with no solution. Is there someone who can help point me in the right direction? I'd love to get started but NO mining software Ive tried will work because of this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I tried POS mining long back ago bought ticket when decred was just opened mainnet the block height was around 5000. I read about 256 block thing and i thought my coins are gonna be free after 256 blocks. after some years I've checked my wallet and it's still unspendable. how can i solve this?

I'm looking to stake my decred with a pool through the GUI on OSX. The pool requires that I "copy and paste the pubkeyaddr that starts with Dk into the form below." The problem is that both my receiving address and extended public key do not start with "Dk" rather they start with "D...". Whenever I input the extended public key into the form, I get a response that reads "Couldn't decode address." I tried creating another wallet but the problem still persists.

I recently updated my wallet to 1.3.1 and Im currently having problem to see my good balance.
So I bough a ticket on october 6 and I updated my wallet after that. When I opened my new wallet, they asked me to add the seed which I did. But to my surprise, I only saw the remaining of my balance but not the full balance (remaining + ticket price (100dcr) )

I can confirm that I have paid with this wallet since I verify that the adress to create the ticket is mine.

On two macs my osx client v.1.2.1 wont launch after loading the chain when I click the button to open my wallet it says dcr wallet closed due to an error. Check dcrwallet logs and contact support if the issue persists. It does this with one wallet I am mining to that has always worked with a substantial balance, and one new installation on a different mac. Any idea whats wrong and how i can fix it?

For some reason, my wallet was not working yesterday so I downloaded the installer and reloaded the wallet with my 33 word phrase. I did this and realized I now have two accounts, my "default" one and the other that I just reloaded.

In my reloaded account, I see that I have about 300 more DCR than I "should". Right now, I have 294 DCR that is available but when I try to buy tickets with any of them, I am told:

I'm using decrediton 1.2.1 and for a few weeks everything was fine. However, today I tried to buy a ticket but received the following message: "Unable to purchase tickets: failed to send split transaction".

I deleted the whole blockchain and downloaded it again, but the problem still persisted. I saw some people talking about a "rescan" button but I couldn't find it in decrediton (sorry if it's dumb) 1.2.1.

I am using the latest version of the Decrediton GUI & made a wallet some time ago.

I can't remember the private passphrase i must have created when I set it up... though I have the 33 word wallet seed stored safely.

How can I rebuild and access my wallet? I am getting the error below at the moment.

Error: invalid passphrase for private master key Please try again

Do I need to dive into the command line or is there a simpler way.

Hello,

I hadn't loaded decredition for a while and upgraded to 1.2.1. It never successfully loads my wallet.

I have seen the messages about synching the blockchain and it seems to have found the transactions on my account. Based on the dcrd logs, seen in decredition.

I have deleted the ~/Library/Application Support/decredition folder and recreated the wallet and after resyncing am stuck at the same place.

What else should I reset to get this working? I imagine there is some...
