Hey guys, i've been running my gtx 1070 (in a laptop) for about 36h now with ccminer, just to see what its like, but i haven't done any manual configuring since that still a bit too intimidating for me. Dave said my constant temp of 68 C is nothing to worry about. I'm getting about 0.01 DCR per hour with an average of 2.1GH. Is that reasonable ?
It seems low but I also haven't PoW mined in months, so I don't know what's expected anymore.. The difficulty has increased drastically with the Decred exchange value increase, so that would reduce your earnings. We'll probably have to compare your results to somebody else's if they're willing to share.
I'm running 2xSapphire R9 Nano and my current day earning is 0.1741 DCR (global hashrate ~55TH), so per card is than half of that. Avarage hashrate on pool site is about 2.9 GH/s for both cards combined. Avarage hashrate reporting by miner software (GoMiner 0.8.0) is about 3.4GH/s for both cards combined. Mining pool in my case is CoinMine.pl. I hope this data is some kind useful for you.
Im hasing at 2650 mh/s on average with a desktop 1070 gtx using lastest cc miner 2.0. Just using a stock msi 1070 armor out of the box. I'm getting like 0.13 decreds a day on supr nova mining pool. My gpu temps are in the 66-68 degree range with automatic fan setting. So ya I'm just doing this for fun and letting those decreds trickle in. After electricity cost in my area (bay area california) I'm making very little. But this is just a fun learning experience. If i were to buy it straight on an exchange i'll would have just done it one time and i'll end up not doing it b/c of life and other bills to pay. FYI. with a 970gtx I was getting 1450-1500 mh/s on cc miner 2.0 latest. Previous verson 1.7 something i was only getting 1300 mh/s, I'm waiting on some power cable to ship to me so i can run both a 1070 and a 970 at the same time.
