If you can see them in transactions as "category":"immature" I am almost sure you'll get them. Don't worry.
Im having issues running my wallet. My guess is because i used upper case, lower case, numbers, and special characters in the private and public passphrases. Creating the wallet had no issues with this but running dcrwallet requires --walletpass= because i opted to create a public passphrase. ANYWAY, my question is this.. As long as i have my seed created for the airdrop.. Can i delete my current wallet that WILL NOT run, create a new wallet that doesnt have special characters in the public and private passphrase, and import the wallet seed into the new wallet? Will i still be able to control my airdrop coins?
Don't know the answer for sure but try to put your passphrase into "quotes" and your special characters will probably work.
I believe so. To be absolutely sure, just cut and paste it somewhere else instead of deleting. But you should be able to restore your wallet as long as you have those seed words.
EDIT: Never mind how to type the command, special characters will not allow the wallet to run while using --walletpass=. After creating a new wallet without special characters and using the seed from the airdrop that i had used previously, i still have control of my airdrop address. Success!
@Lee Sharp and @CommanderVenus are either of you able to shed some light on checking wallet balance? Nothing I do with GetBalance works
Wallet is still with bugs. Before 256 block I saw my balance with this command: > dcrctl --wallet getbalance default 0 all But now I can see only locked coins. Maybe it's possible to fix by removing wallet and then create it back from the seed. But anyway, we need to wait until someone fix wallet bugs.
lol that is not a bug but they locked the airdrop coins for 256 block so they didn't show up in balance unless you ran with all parameter. EDIT: what do you mean by locked coins?
That is a bug. There is open issue: https://github.com/decred/dcrwallet/issues/2 By "locked coins" I mean coins, that I used to buy voting ticket (PoS).
Yep, I have 20 unconfirmed tickets, 2 coins for each. But for some reason new blocks not include SStx at all.. what i saw in > getblock That's quite bad, because if ticket price go upper, this tickets will stuck in mempool, what I learned from the testnet. So balance will be wrong again.
So, we got 282.63795424 DCR for Airdrop. 840000 / 282.63795424 = 2972 participants Earlier ingsoc announced that it was 3,244 So they removed 272 registrations more. Good job, guys!
i think there is some kind of bug with amd64 version that want show the balance i've tried deleting the blockchain and the wallet without success until i've switched to 386 version
