Hey. I have had a problem with my decred wallet and have been trying to fix it for a few hours now. A while ago, I created my first decred wallet on Paymetheus on my windows PC. I later made one on my new mac laptop, in which I deposited 12 decred onto a decredition wallet. My mac broke but luckily I backed up my wallet. I reloaded the wallet on my windows PC. Here is where the problem started.

I still had my previous wallet on my windows PC, the one with no decred. I reinstalled decred to enter the seed of my old wallet from my mac with 12 decred on it. I successfully got my wallet back. However, I just launched the wallet and it says that there is no money on it. I believe my first wallet is conflicting with my restored wallet, and I can no longer find a way to re enter my seed and get my decred back. I have reinstalled decred and can't figure out how to fix the problem, as it never gives me an option to restore wallet, it only takes me back to the empty wallet.I am using decredition now.

Bottom line is that my wallet with money has disappeared and I cannot find an option anywhere to restore an old wallet, even after completely uninstalling then reinstalling the blockchain.

Hey there, welcome. Don't worry, as long as you have your seed saved, you will not lose your DCR coins, in fact, there hasn't been anyone losing any coin up until today. Chances is, there is some sync and display problem with your wallet.

What is your address you deposited into? You can check out on the blockchain to confirm your deposit:

    https://explorer.dcrdata.org

In the meantime, head over to #support channel on slack to get a faster response to help you fix your wallet.

    Cheers!
