Yes, that was the first stake ticket he purchased, just minutes after he transferred the coins to his address. I wouldn't be surprised if that address which received the stolen coins is part of his own wallet on which he has his own airdop coins too and which was already set to buy stake tickets down to zero balance. He actually posted about this earlier how he spent all his coins on stake tickets.
I don't know what's going on, but i'm italian like Blizzy, i'm quite noob and in the past italian decred forum Blizzy saw me as noob and one the first things he said me in a post about some my POS doubt, is to not absolutely give to anyone my seed, so, is not a defence, is what happened to me This is the link, if you use google translate you can easily understand that he is helping and never tried to ask me something even in PM: https://forum.decred.org/threads/dubbi-sul-pos-proof-of-stake.414/ however...you never knows "homo homini lupus" and "opportunity makes the thief"
I would like to say that from now on please use forum threads for help or even better post in an already existing thread on similar problem if info already available in that thread doesn't solve your problem. Also, do use the search before you create a thread. This will keep the forum clean. Anything you can't share on a forum thread, you should not be sharing in PM with people you don't know/trust. I am sure people will help in forum and it will be easy for devs and mods to help as well.
We know what he posted before yesterday. But we also saw what he did yesterday on the first opportunity to scam someone. Don't try to whitewash that with pre-scam posts. There is not one atom of evidence in his favor. The SOB pulled off a poor $400 scam on the first opportunity. His place in the Decred hall of shame is sure. So far only with his alias, pretty sure in the near future with his real name and personal data.
I'd also like to ask other users to please put a hold on the witch hunt for Blizzy. At least until a 3rd party can verify bttjob's screenshots. Innocent until proven guilty and all that.
I agree. As for blitzing this all over reddit and twitter. Go ahead, yes lets trash decred as a scammer coin right off the bat. Lets tarnish the decred name and ruin it within the first month. Can I get 3 cheers? No? Think before you act people. geez.
I think they mean that we should spread the word about people getting scammed so that in future others are more careful about what they do. Also, having a scammer who took advantage of people's ignorance doesn't mean whole coin is a scam.
I'm sorry about what has happened to you. I believe in karma, too. Do you have any DCR at all now? Maybe you can give us an address and if we donate to you a little bit you can get your initial airdrop back.
We can verify this 2 ways correct? Via the PMs(yet to happen by 3rd party) and through the blockchain. We may not know the end address as being one for blizzy though? We should be able to follow the coin however. Maybe someone more experienced and with more time can run that down? Yes @sambiohazard that is exactly what I mean. Just think before you go posting this all over. Make sure you send the message that crypto is as secure as you make it. The crypto itself is secure. The wallet itself is secure. If you break it yourself by giving out info then you broke the crypto. Your account was not hacked. Nobody reverse hashed your coins away in the night. Somebody got scammed, if that is in the end what is proven, and it does look that way. Lets hold off until we have undeniable proof. Then say what really happened. Someone who may not have understood the implications was coerced into giving up info that allowed them to be taken advantage of. This is not an amazing show of skillz. It happens everyday unfortunately.
I think this suggestion and the witch-hunt should be put on hold until moderators officially debrief the forum. Besides the issue of sorting out the truth, this address had better be for a new, secure wallet.
I'm sad to report that @Blizzy has confessed to taking @bttjob's hex. It is disappointing that this has happened and I thought @Blizzy would have shown greater integrity given his activity on the forum. He has asked to be banned and has offered to send @bttjob's coins back to him. It appears he has staked all of the coins, so the PoS reward will be sent as well. @bttjob: Can you please post an address here where you would like to receive your coins and the PoS reward that were taken from you? @Blizzy: Can you confirm when you can send the coins and the PoS reward back so verification can occur in good time? I want to give you (@Blizzy) an opportunity to make this right. What you did is completely unacceptable and it is not the conduct we expect in this community. You have apologised to me, but you have not wronged me - you have wroned @bttjob, and he deserves the apology and what was taken from him. You will have to work hard to earn the trust of this community again after what you did. They may not forgive you, but we need to look inward and find what causes this behaviour - I urge you to do this. I leave this thread open as an opportunity for you to address the community, and more importantly, @bttjob directly to explain what needs to happen now. I also ask the community to oversee this process in the hope that we can return what is rightfully @bttjob's.
Great . Man hunt is now closed . @Blizzy What you did was very disappointing . Its @_ingsoc big heart that he is giving u fair chance . Its time to make it all right .
