Hello everyone, A public block explorer and web wallet are now live for use on testnet. Both these will be available for mainnet use upon launch. Any assistance in testing these would be greatly appreciated. If you do find any issues, please submit them through the project's GitHub account. That is, issues for the block explorer (https://testnet.decred.org or future https://mainnet.decred.org) go to the Insight repository, and issues for the web wallet (https://wallet.decred.org) go to the Copay repository. That will ensure developers can give them attention in the most efficient way. Pull requests will gladly be accepted in the future too when both become free and open-source at 12:00 PM CST February 7th, 2016! Sincerely, Decred Project
amazing!! i have imported the testnet wallet by creating a new wallet and i have used the same seed. wow guys great work! clear with a LOT of options!!
I tried to use my seed that I got from the air drop to open the web wallet. No luck! Any suggestions?

By the way, if someone interested mostly in PoS-minting, as me, you can find some charts here: http://188.213.166.128/ I'm developing this service for my own needs, to be able predict price of the tickets and pool / mempool size, to find best time for entering the market or lottery. Right now there are only daily minimum, average and maximum values. But I'm collect and analyze all available data and I'm planning to deploy big update few days after mainnet launch (when I'll collect enough of interesting mainnet statistic)
I've imported my testnet seed and the wallet works not correctly It shows that I have balance 0.00 DRC, but it's not true. Code: dcrctl --testnet --wallet getbalance default 0 > 102.15365659 dcrctl --testnet --wallet getbalance default 0 all > 168.8572618 Also I'm sure, that my seeds was imported successfully, because I can see in the history of web wallet 1DCR transaction, that I made from one my address to another in test purposes (actually, I did much more transactions, like 10 or 20, while I was testing fees). Should I shut down my console wallet, if I use at the same time online wallet @jy-p ? Or why data in online wallet is not correct.
Try to go home---preference--advanced and rescan your address. thanks for the charts are really helpful to understand pos system! Please open a topic on this!
У меня та же ошибка. Кошелек, на котором не включен демон показывает правильные данные, но кошелек, на котором идет добыча pos показывает 0. Также я переслал 10 монет с кошелька. Монеты пришли, но состояние кошелька с которого переслал монеты не изменилось.
The Web Wallet looks great. Very slick and responsive design. I experienced some functionality problems though. Tried to open a backup of my testwallet (made with default settings in chrome) on my iPhone 4S (chrome mobile), but that didn't work. I got this note: 'Could not import: Wallet not registered at the Wallet Service. Recreate it from "Create Wallet" using "Advanced Options" to set your seed'. In the future will be trying other ways to sync between devices, but for now no success. When I tried to create a new wallet on my phone I got 'Error at Wallet Service: Insight Error', but the testwallet on my desktop seems fine. If you need additional information for bugfixing, let me know!

From what I have observed the default setting on the webwallet is "dbits" (I hate that name!) I'd suggest going to Preferences->Unit->DCR to show it in a sanely. I sent 1.3456 DCR. The web wallet is not capable of staking.
Web wallet currently giving 502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.8.1 Currently pointing hash to the address from a fresh wallet created there, with a balance of ~26 DCR. I think I'd be s$%4ing my pants if this were mainnet. EDIT: It's back, but started up sluggish. I send some DCR to my initial testnet wallet. Not yet verified it though.
As mentioned @davecgh above: "The web wallet is not capable of staking." Also web wallet shows not correct balance and probably have many other problems. Also, when you're importing your seed to any website, those guys get access to all your coins in the wallet. So, it's quite crazy idea to use such online wallets for mainnet.
