Yes, it works with both networks. You have a choice between using the web (GUI) wallet and the CLI dcrwallet. The caveat there is the web wallet can't do staking at the current time, so if you plan to participate in PoS, you have to use dcrwallet.
ok. I do not know how to work the programming codes so the web wallet is for me. Are we going to have user names and passwords for our wallets? Do I need to import my seed to this wallet to receive coins later today? Last question davecgh. Will I be able to POS from this wallet in the future. I would really like to, but my computer skills are nil. I sometimes get lost in the programming language on the forum.
I see, I have added the wallet with my airdrop seeds, however there is nothing inside yet, is there are any coins have been sent to those airdrop address yet? Thanks
The wallet is all client side, so there are no accounts or anything to deal with. Yes, you'll need to create a wallet using your seed to receive the airdrop. I would assume that it will eventually be possible, but I personally have nothing to do with the wallet, so I can't answer with any certainty on that. No, the airdrop coins won't be available until mainnet is launched and the first block is mined.
I think this information is very important and needs to be more spreaded. Many people set their browsers to delete all cookies when closed.

I am getting a network error for the gui wallet. Now it is saying that I cannot connect to the network server. Network Connection error. Is anyone else getting this message?
There is no rush to import your seed! The airdrop will just happen, and when you finally connect, it will be there.
Guys, for thouse of you who trying to use seed from your confirmation link (http://decred.org/confirm/t?xxxxx1111zzzz) BIG NOTE! This words are EXAMPLE of seed words, NOT yours. your is somewhere on your computer. If you try to use this example words in webwallet you will get "insight error".

You are getting this error because you are trying to import whole wallet. That's not functionality you need now. Open http://wallet.decred.org Click 'Create' not 'Import'. than it will ask your seed.
