Ccminer 1.7.2 - Cuda Miner - For Nvidia Gpu Is Out

Are there any other changes I need to make to start using stratum on suprnova for CCminer?

ccminer.exe -a decred -o stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -u xxx -p xxx

does not connect. I verified the numbers on the dashboard.

 

I will suggest that you use longpoll version, startum version is still a test version as said by tpruvot. That is why probably he has not released a binary himself. If you cannot troubleshoot then you should not use this version.

 

Looks good and should work. Which error do you get ?

Whoa never actually saw this error but sounds really weird... Nothing to do with the pool but rather a local issue.. Maybe we can wait until a dev says something

 

I am successfully using the regular settings with CC miner. Going to try the new settings on my other machine when I have a chance and see if they work on that one. will post here if I find anything.

 

Confirm you are using ccminer 1.7.3? I believe that I got the same error when I tried using the stratum port on 1.7.2.

By the way, I tried the stratum port using the 1.7.3 build, and the hashrate is significantly lower. I'll be sticking with getwork for now.

 

CGMiner throws that error....

 

Norikai you were correct. I did not know that a new version was released and was required. it does work now with the new version.

That kinda makes sense, for why it wasn't on your own page. And why it's not as productive.
^ I ended up going back to the 1.7.2 version. And shall await your own release!

 

I haven't been able to get it to work using getwork using anyone's binary. The official 1.7.2 won't even start, even when running in --benchmark mode. The 1.7.3 version comes back with an error when I try to connect to a getwork port. Works perfectly using the stratum port, getting ~500Mh/s. Not sure what my issue is, thinking maybe because I'm running it on a GTX 770, might be too old. At any rate, just wanted to use the kiddo's box to get a few more shares out of the pool, so I'm happy with that.

 

make sure your config uses http:// and not stratum+tcp:// when connecting to the getwork ports.

 

I was trying to use http:// before I ever tried the stratum link, so I didn't run into that mistake.

 

Interestingly the hash rate is same as with cgminer?
