Am I missing something, or were they removed?
--temp-target --auto-fan (no longer supported)
Anyone else unable to control fans? If you are controlling fans outside of cgminer, what are you using for windows 10. I can not mine with my cards at 95 degrees. TIA.
I see no one has got back to you on this...
I'm not sure about fan controls in cgminer but you can always use something like EVGA Precision X or MSI Afterburner to control your fan speed.
I confirm on linux it does not work either, set my fans to 70-85 and they run well below that showing that the auto is working even after setting it to false
--temp-target is all that is needed for me, along with --temp-overheat and --temp-cutoff of course. Fan speed is then adjusted automatically to keep the temp.
Just finished my new build and got all those options back!
Testing now, i run linux and can help or share my cgminer if it works well with anyone that wants it.
FYI that option did not help me much on my linux dedicated miner, no clue about window except using that option has caused BSOD for some users, see ticket open on github.
Holy cow my temps are way lower and all the options I set are working perfectly!
good to hear!
