If I'm not mistaken, my cgminer is running I : 7, does that mean intensity 7? If it is, then at intensity 7 its running at 90 deg.. With AC and fan blowing on it.
maybe the accepted message will appear after 16 or more blocks. I believe the "work" that your pc does have to be verified first by the decred network, it could take some time. I havent got anything yet
dcrctl -u username -P password --wallet listtransactions And you should see airdrop coins as an immature transaction category.
It's been more than 50 "new block detected on network" messges since I first get "found share for pool 0!" message and no accept/reject message until then. Also I see no immature transactions in my wallet. Is this normal?
So should I give up minning? Or maybe the right question will be "Does anyone get accept messages in cgminer?" Completely disappointed at this time.
If you are solo mining it could takes days before you find a block. A share is only a completed set of calculation in an effort of finding a block. On a pool you will be paid for your share ratio during the time the combined pool took to find a block. On the network at the moment there is already 2,027,149 MH/s of miners trying to find the next block, and only one will. So if you have 1GH/s of mining power and goes solo that means you have about 1 of 2027 chances of finding the next block.
Yes! Everyone should quit so I can test my machine! More for me! (Not that I have any yet...) Not disappointed as much are frustrated and impatient. Ports changed, and documentation / scripts did not reflect it. The Airdrop is being held up by slow confirmation. And I THINK I am mining, but the only way to tell is to wait a while, and if I was wrong in my port selection, I am waisting all this mining time when everyone else is broken!
Well I just want to know if we are really mining right now... cause I think there is a problem with Mainnet launch or at least a problem with cgminer for windows, but I just hope I am wrong.
