I mined on your pool. It worked nicely and withdrawals worked again after the 30-->256 bug was fixed. Vouch.
Using coinmine.pl again after a few days on another pool. Working very well. Nice to see hashrates in "General Statistics" and "Dashboard" shown in GH/s (not in MH/s). What is missing is a display of the unconfirmed coins in dashboard, to not have to navigate to the transactions to see them. "Est. Next Difficulty" seems totally broken.
is it better now with Dashboard? Next diff is broken indeed and I am going to remove it completely from all pools. It was OK for litecoin or bitcoin when there is static algo for this. Now for all altcoins it is just impossible to maintain
Dashboard is perfect now! Is the beeping every few minutes or so coming from the dashboard? I guess so since there is now an icon to enable/disable the sound. But what does the beeping mean? Can't be block found or block found by the pool since it beeped while nothing was found. What then?
Unfortunately the plots keep starting over every few minutes because I have to reload the page otherwise the server will log me out. If I don't reload manually every few minutes I will have to login again. Whenever I reload the page the upper right corner shows "You have last logged in..." so obviously every refresh is considered a new login and then the plots start over.
It's nice. But it ding-ding-dings even when no block is found, neither by pool nor by network I couldn't find out yet what triggers it.
Thanks for fixing the frequent logouts. It was much better tonight. Kept me logged in without any unsolicited logout over many hours. But a horrible streak of bad luck since 12 hours: "Est. Shares this Round 275,307 (done: 382.14%)"
yeah - not lucky pool recently... but it always happens I remember rounds for other coins which were over 1000% of expected shares :|
Dig your pool. Small request, something that shows current block on the dashboard. Not a big deal, but it would allow me to sit here staring at a screen without having to do anything besides avoid a coma. Thanks for your efforts!
done near the round progress. and I disabled ding sound completely until i find out why it is not working correctly
It looks like there is a problem with getting votes. You only have 3/30 blocks in your last 30 blocks with all 5 votes, with other pools have higher ratios. This is going to cost your pool coins. Do you know what's causing this? Suprnova have 13/20 with 5 votes.
@feeleep, been trying to get in touch with all the pools. Sent you an e-mail via your pool's website. Here it is: A number of pools are consistently failing to include votes cast on the network. Failing to include votes reduces block subsidy. If you are using getwork with long polling enabled, please ensure that you are long polling to your miners when the number of votes increase in a block template. Normally with long poll in Bitcoin-style networks, you send new long polled work when a block comes in. In Decred, blocks first need to be voted on first. Long polling needs to be adjusted to this. In Decred, long polls to the miner should occur when: The height of the getwork header is increased. The height is encoded as a little endian uint32 at header[128:132]. The number of voters in the getwork header is increased. The number of voters is encoded as a little endian uint16 at header[108:110]. PrevBlock of the getwork header is changed while height stays the same. This indicates the miner reorganized the blockchain so the tip is the block with the most votes. This should also cause an increase in voters and can probably be ignored if 2) is closely monitored. PrevBlock is the hash found at header[4:36]. This will ensure your pool gets the greatest amount of mining subsidy and remains competitive. It is also recommended to run an extra daemon or two on a VPS with high throughput and connectivity, to ensure you quickly receive all the votes cast on the network. Failing to include votes means destroyed subsidy and miners moving to pools that better include votes.
Suddenly seeing a lot of work rejects. No change in configs across 3 machines. Everything working great for days, then bang boom, work rejects like crazy. Diff 8 and 1 ports. I have a feeling I'm not the only one. The pool has last a majority of it's hash power. Come back 500 Gh/s whale. Come back!
Unfortunately not. And to make things worse suprnova too has now lots of blocks with destroyed subsidy.
