    Hi all,

For those who don't know, I was one of the successful bidders for RFP 4 to update the wiki. One of my tasks will be to provide guides to various Decred activities to new users. While I will be writing the guides (bar some that the other successful bidders will be doing) I would like to acknowledge the people who have come before me in writing their own guides. l will not be using guides from the forum verbatim, but I will be referencing some of them and possibly using snippets here and there. On top of that, much of my knowledge is owed to the people who gave their time to help others.

I will add a list to each page of members who have contributed guides on these forums. If for some reason you DO NOT want to be acknowledged in the wiki please let me know here. Anyone who has submitted a guide regardless of whether or not your text was directly used will be acknowledged in the page of the corresponding guide unless you opt out.

    Regards,
    Shadowlance

    Whatever I want.
Don't know if it's relevant, but just to be sure, you have my permission to use my guide, with or without any modifications you deem appropriate.
Also I would be thrilled to be credited.

    Congrats!

Sometimes I think you may want to quote me on what NOT to do. I'm okay with that:)

Is there a timeline on when/if the wiki pages have talk pages to contribute to?

Not sure yet. The devs are considering changing from MediaWiki to something else, but it hasn't been decided what, or even if it will change.
