So, I managed to update to the latest version and at the rescaning, I saw that it lists 498 address to my wallet, So How do I reduce these into a single address and/or how to prevent wallet from creating new addresses? (I use POS for mining)
What happened to the option to recover from seed on this page. I get to this part of using Paymetheus, but I am not able to find where to reseed.
If this is your real seed of your existing wallet immediately open new wallet and move your funds from old one to the new one!!!!! Never ever disclose your seed to anyone, even to your wife!!!! I can only hope that is not to late.
That is not a real seed. I want to reseed, but yet to see the option to do that. On a screen that I found in the rfp-1 post from July 13, you have a way to recover. I am trying to figure out how to get to the recover wallet path in Paymetheus. Edit -- Never mind, I seed that it was removed back around 0.2.0. It looks like that it may get added back in next update. I will keep my eye out.
@ay-p I run some tests when I had funds and the price was reasonable and I find out that with v0.5.1 when --ticketbuyfreq value is set over the tickets that can be bought with the available funds (getbalance value) the auto-buying is not working. For now I get rid of --ticketbuyfreq flag since very rarely I can buy more than 3 tickets, but with version v0.4.0 I didn't have such a problem. You may want to investigate it on a wallet with low funds and a high --ticketbuyfreq value to reproduce it. Anyway I don't really need --ticketbuyfreq so it's not a big problem.
Cool work the sync is way faster and since there is no separate ticket database shutting down the dcrd.exe is also faster.
