    Hello everyone,

Thanks to all of the great community input and the outcome of RFP-4, dcrdocs is now live! The documentation is made up of a Getting Started section, with user guides for the software on Windows, Linux/UNIX, OS X, and the web client as well. There is information on how to obtain DCR and how to use the block explorer.

dcrdocs has a separate Mining section with information on solo and pool proof-of-work (PoW) and proof-of-stake (PoS) mining. There is a detailed and comprehensive FAQ section developed from user-generated questions and answers on the forum. An Advanced section also exists for more technical usage of and details about the software, and a Research section details the current areas of research work in Decred.

Finally, a Credits section shows all of the sources used in the development of dcrdocs, which is now free and open-source software that anyone can contribute to. A repository has been created on Github, so please feel free to raise issues and create pull requests if you would like to contribute to the improvement of Decred's documentation and knowledge base.

Let's all thank the following outstanding contributors, so that they may know their knowledge contributed here on the forum will live on and be seen by new members we welcome to the community in the future: @anondran, @Ayush, @brencelj, @ClokworkGremlin, @davecgh, @David, @Dirbaio, @drunkenmugsy, @Finksy, @norikai, @Reynold, @rohit pawar, @sambiohazard, @sw1, @thepotterone, and @zero. If you have contributed knowledge here on the forum, or anywhere else (such as on dcrstats), let's get your content into the documentation system so it can help others.

A big thank you to @David, @Shadowlance, and @zkott for their work on RFP-4, and @jcv and @jolan for their work on it as well. The project looks forward to incrementally moving more content into dcrdocs and building the knowledge base out further!

You can access dcrdocs at https://docs.decred.org.

    Sincerely,
    Decred Project

    Looks awesome!
Is there a link to the documents from the decred.org page?
That will help people who are checking out decred for the first time.

That's a good point - it should be added. It's worth noting that the landing site is getting a total redesign and a blog integrated into it as well. That's part of RFP-7, so we'll see much better cohesion across the different platforms.

Looks fantastic _ingsoc. I'd like to say thanks again to all who posted guides on the forum., I found them all very helpful when writing the guides I did. If I've missed anymore who posted a guide before April 2016, feel free to add yourself to the credits, or let me know and I'll add you.

I'll be staying active on the docs where possible (mostly the guides) to make sure they're up to date, but if you spot anything that's wrong, let me know so I can fix it.

Great job everyone!!! This will make it a lot easier for new people to understand and get started with Decred. :D
Now all that's left is a simple gui wallet and Decred goes mainstream. \m/

Formatting gets screwed up if you are not full screen. I run half screen so I have had side by side browsers., and the menu is stacked oddly and covers the top of the body.

    1 question!

Since we contributed a bit toward helping complete the decred documentation and maybe also in helping people who wanted to get started with decred when there was no proper easy-to-follow-guide , Do we get some pay?
    @_ingsoc Just askin. :p :)
