We don't actually have one, that's a good point. I've seen some on the paper wallets though. I was thinking about something simple. Just the letter "D" in a nice font with maybe a little piece of it removed (i.e., the top right corner of the "D" letter, for example). I think simple can be good, just like the symbol in the logo is quite simple. Very curious to see some designs.

Wouldn't rotating the logo 15 degrees, (to make the left side vertical) and rounding the right point to make it D shaped give a stylized D that is similar to the logo?

And then round the point on the right to make it shaped like a capital D, but with the double left side and break.

Is this similar to the D shape you are meaning?

Funny version of round on the right side... :) I am thinking more D shaped, but with the Decred styling cues...

PS: I am not an artists at all. If I tried to draw it, I might be shot. ;)

The rotation to the right (as well as the fading design) does look nice. Although, at first glance it sort of gives the appearance similar to that of googles 'play' application.

I love the symbol in general no matter its rotation. If you think of it as pieces of a puzzle, all the letters to spell "Decred" can be found.

Even though the triangle is "point down", when I first saw the icon it just made sense to me. My initial thought was the letter "D" or rather ∆ (Delta)

Yeah, it has become completely ridiculous. Between this and all the google and bing required crap for search, the root of a website is a total mess!
