So I was just doing random stuff on the interwebs, and suddenly I ran into this rather weird Decred coin. - It's not only using Decred as the "tag" (Yeah, I can't remember what it's called.), but also uses DCR, for some reason. It links to a couple of exchanges, as if it was actually being traded there. (I only checked Bittrex though. And yeah as you guessed, no DeltaCredits there). And of course, it's a buy-in coin, 100% premined, with a PoS reward. (How ever the fuck that functions, I'm not knowledgable enough to figure out.) Well, anyway. Figured someone could use the information for something, So here it is. DeltaCredits aka Decred. >.<
Absolutely nothing. I just found it funny, when I stumpled upon it. - Figurd someone could use the information about a coin, that uses Decred as a "trademark", or what ever it's called. ^ Looks like a scam to me. But I only spend a couple of minutes, at 5:50 am.
Probably some misinformed writer's mistake. To be fair, DCR stood for DeltaCredits before DCR meant Decred, but the coin is virtually dead. I've also noticed that some further confuse DeltaCredits with Deltacoin, (meaning at this point they believe DCR = DELTA) which is a little ridiculous. The major exchanges have the correct abbreviations, and Coinmarketcap even shows DeltaCredits as DCRE - it seems they've changed it to avoid confusion.
