Using the term Explain it like I am 5 (ELI5) from Reddit. I have mined around 350 DCR with my GPUs. How can PoS benifit me? What are Tickets? How can I spend my DCR to make more? I'm in it for the long haul with 14Gh/s and by monday 20Gh/s.

Thank all of you coders that allow me to put my video cards back to work.

Thank you all in advance for questions answered,

Well PoS can increase your profit for 1.8348 DCR (9 April 2016) per vote. This price dropes the same time as the reward for PoW drops and it is 10% of the PoW reward (if I'm not mistaken).
So you need to use DCR that you own and you buy with it tickets which are eligible to vote after 256 blocks. After that is random time when your ticket will vote. Most of them vote in the first 28 days (if I'm not mistaken). and small % won't vote at all. Ticket cost a certain amount of DCR which you can check here.
After your tickets has voted you get back in 256 blocks. You get back price + ticket reward - fee which is default 0.05. You can change fee but if it is to low your purchase of ticket won't go through.

I hope I answer a bit of stuff. If you have more questions do ask and what you want to know a bit more ask it as well :).

Thank you for the explanation. Where can I buy tickets and how do I vote? Do I need the command line Linux wallet to vote?
