Many of us are software developers with significant skills in this area to add to the project. A good deal others: passionate, intellectually sharp, computer-literate, wanting to contribute, wonder what may be value-added within their abilities (I've seen posts abound in this regard). Being in the latter category, on the drive to the day-job, brainstorming how to additionally contribute to Decred's success, I thought how easy it would be (after creating my own Decred wallet), to discuss with a few people (who may have never even heard of cryptocurrency) how it works (or try to), and for those interested, walk them through the setup (in a teach a man to fish sort of way ... ). Having been airdropped a generous seed, transfer them a percent. Be there to support them in their subsequent exploration of the technology. I could commit to doing this for, say, ten friends/family (if they show significant interest) over the next year. While I think we'll all naturally do the communication aspect (I know we are all very excited about the project), the percent donation seems novel. I'll look to the dev's to vet the idea, and interested to hear thoughts from the community.
