I am sorry that you lost your coin but the address you have posted is a testnet address. If you want real coins that you can spend/sell on exchange etc then you should create a mainnet wallet. Easiest way to do that is to use the web wallet over here, then people can send you some real DCR. wallet.decred.org

You certainly won't ever get back those ("my") coins. Nothing exits a black hole. One coin is now at more than $2.50 and people won't donate easily a full coin. You better buy before it goes higher. You can buy just a few and then trade. With the recent volatility you can multiply them in short time.

Maybe making the user retype in their seed before creating the first address would have been a good idea? You'd assume people would write down something that important though.
