  1. 2017/12/15 - Decred v1.1.2 released! → Release Notes  → Downloads
  1. I've been watching from the outside and decided to join the community. I'm no developer although I wish I've learned a couple of languages along the way. Who knows, I might.

I've been all over the forum mostly in the mining section and got to say either windows 10 is not supported or all the provided softwares are buggy and won't work on win 10.

Has anyone succesfully setup a mining rig in windows 10?

Also which OS is the most recommended for mining? I am currently mining ether but would like to turn my rig to decred.

The rig has 6 gpu r390 and running 15.12 catalyst driver.

So far I have successfully run the dcrd, wallet and dcrctl. Tho. sometimes the dcrd hangs until I restart it. Maybe it's win 10 and dcrd v0.1.0 release.

You don't need any of those unless you plan to solo mine.

Win10 sucks. After using linux for more than 3yrs I just cant stand the sight of windows. Slow and irritating.

    I support that.

New Ubuntu 16.04 came out recently, give it a go.
