The source has not been released yet. Teams are being organised to help set up 10 stake pools. You can submit a proposal for RfP 6 to be included in a pool group.
As a member of one of those proposals, this is not a casual endeavor(as I initially expected, and I'm really glad my partners in the endeavor are on the ball here). Highly recommend getting a solid team together before you go to file an application. More stake pools is good, but I just want to stress it's a pretty major task. Make sure you're ready for it.
Im not sure but Im always looking to help, Im quite competent and comfortable with linux, have digitalocean accounts I regularly pay for. I have hosted mining pools before in the past, using MPOS and NOMP, been mining since 2013 lol. Although I can run the local decred wallet, its a pain for me, and wish I was a little more comfortable with it, so no i'm not staking yet unfortunately, die hard supporter though from the start. Currently into ETH, RADS, DCR, CREDIT, and a few other interesting coins. My programming abilities, are not bad, I have a experience with visual studios, the usual html, php etc, some python, again quite comfortable on a console. Some might call me a programmer, but id say script kiddy at best, Its not much but I can definitely run a pool reliably. Ill apply formally if this qualifies, as im quite discriminative of my skills sometime lol. Anyone who'd like to partner up im usually interested in hearing from you as well.. Edit: I spent the 10 mins I needed learning, I can now stake pretty comfortably... Just needed to focus lol
