What happens ? the price not to go down. the excitement is over? or will be a very good opportunity to buy?
Been in crypto trading for a long long time my advice is focus on the long term ... in crypto things go up and down like crazy unless you are super skilled at trading it's best to ignore these fluctuations and if you believe in Decred as a project (which you should, it's amazing) - you should hold for the long term
Yes, price fluctuations are normal and are actually considered to be fairly healthy for a cryptocurrency's growth. I plan to buy some more Decred when I notice the price bottoming out and hold - no need to worry.
I'm just wishing I had some Bitcoin to buy Decred with. Looks like it's on the rebound right now, though.
If you had sold your DCR at $2.80 you would have had lots of BTC to buy back almost twice as many at $1.50
this was totally to be expected. it's an airdrop thing, newly airdropped coins always have a percentage get dumped. Look at how auroracoin and bitshares played out. it looks like this coin is going to start out somewhere between $500,000 and $1,500,000 marketcap, which is surprising to me because I honestly expected the market to value it higher. The only question now is where will the bottom be. I sold 200 Decred at $2.60 and I'm poised to buy back when I feel we've touched a bottom. This endeavor has doubled the fiat value of my modest crypto holdings. I couldn't be more stoked.
Yes. I am buying decred slowly in order to hold for the long-term!!! I see the price scaling back to under two dollars, but know that Decred will fluctuate back and forth.
I agree with you Clock!! I think that the price will remain steady, because a lot of people are buying etherum, because of it momentum and bitcoin, because it is cheap. We will see decred make a move in the near future!!
It's a common trend among a lot of things. Nothing for a year, two years, five years, and then suddenly it's everywhere. "The secret to being as successful as us is apparently to do what you're doing for five years." -Graham Stark, 2008(ish)
