Brace yourself guys, the time has come
Thanks for the update, can hardly wait!
The only thing is the volume Bleutrade has, which is virtually non-existent, as compared to others. Personally, I like Poloniex. Many traders end up there due to restrictions of US traders on some sites, and extremely high volumes. Over 10k BTC everyday for the last 2 weeks on ETH. Spreads are decent, and people trading there are well aware of Decred and have displayed great interest. Exposure wise, Polo is the best option.
i also think so
That's partially true, however - your block header spec doesn't include any field with variable data (like nonce), thus effectively limiting the coin to possible future flexibility in the POW mining. Not good.
I also like poloniex - been using them as my main exchange for a while now. never any problems. Plus they have a very friendy/helpfull staff which
always responds to my problems/needs - just like this forum!
The entirety of extraData is free (36 bytes) and can be modified by the pool or miner.
I agree about poloniex, but I never saw they added a coin with less than one month released.
Well at least they have https...
I think btc-e and polo are some of the best options. I can try contacting the btc-e folks about it since Russian is my native language, though no idea how they will react.
Congrats, and condolences as appropriate! Nothing like a public deadline to bring out that pucker factor!
This could be a problem, and 12:00 pm is actually undefined. 12:00 is the turnover between AM and PM. Like zero is neither positive nor negative. While there are common conventions (where I am, 12:00 pm is noon) those conventions can vary, and that causes confusion. (A short web search will find both as "correct.") So to eliminate confusion, could you specify which it is? And perhaps give it in GMT as well by adding 6 to it...
Does this mean that I definitely do not need to learn command line staking? Also, I assume that a VPS wallet will be unnecessary if I use pool for staking. Correct? Pool will handle voting, when picked?
Assuming that you're ok with episodically purchasing tickets while your wallet is online, stake pools will be able to handle voting while you're offline.
Fair point - 1200 PM CST is meant to denote 1200 CST, so noon, not midnight .
12:00 CST is 4:00PM Brazil, right?
yep, in daylight saving time (horário de verão)
agree too !
well we could just wait for one month tho :v, it's not that long
Yes, agree, no need to rush.
yeah please... don't rush. the last thing we need for decred is a greedy pump n' dump! let's make this system last... with PATIENCE.
can someone translate CST time into GMT time please? can we include GMT time in all future announcements since many areas do not practise daylight savings
Greenwich Mean Time is 6 hours ahead of Central Time
