Planning to do a couple of things here in terms of Mining. Could I run multiple clients/miners on old hardware/separate computers? What are the benefits or Cons? Also, Would like to pick up a couple of GeForce GTX 1080 overclocked cards, once available. Is the CG client going to work and are there plans to add performance benefits? You can run multiple miners, just be aware of the issues of running multiple wallets with the same seed. You can find that info elsewhere on the forums or the new docs. Or you could just use different wallets. As for ASICs, I don't believe Decred has them yet. Current hash rate is only 9 TH/s. ASICs can pull over 1TH/s each for the big ones, so I'd say we haven't seen the advent of them yet. I'm not sure the economics would work yet. Be interesting to see what happens when BTC halves in a few weeks.
