Welcome to the forums. To correct, Decred aims to be an enhancement on bitcoin by addressing several inherent design flaws. "Replacing" is not part of the "claim", though time will tell how the two systems will co-exist.
Hello everyone! Marcus here I am a cryptocurrency fan and user since early 2013. I see Decred as a really interesting coin so I want to be here from the start. I've also been involved with crypto currency mining in the past and am interested in getting more involved with a project from the ground up. I would be willing to help anyone I can. P.S. To be a bit more precise then: I am looking at Decred to be my replacement for Bitcoin. It will just take time before I know one way or the other.
