I bought this ticket at block #429. Just expired of natural causes today, at the ripe old age of 41217 blocks (revoked at block 41646). That's fine, as I only lost the 0.00248 fee and opportuntity cost on 2 DCR, but can this please not be called "missed" in the stake manager? I stayed online for nearly 5 months watching each block for that ticket. No, I wouldn't call that missed. And in 4 months from now, I don't think pool operators will feel different when their stats start to sour through no fault of their own. On the up side, that's one less ticket I have to babysit. Any new tickets of mine are going to dcr.stakepool.net
So far I haven't lost any to expiration. My oldest ticket right was bought in block 5004 on Feb 24th. Doing the math assuming ~5min/block it has about 15 days left to get called up.
So looks like this fix might be a little more involved that previously thought. I will keep you posted about a fix.
Is this still something being looked into or no? As it would be nice to have an actual expired count over missed.
