How can I put my decred on a paper wallet? I have been having computer issues and feel safer storing it offline.

You can just write the 33 words necessary to restore your wallet on a piece of paper... That is all you need. You can generate a new wallet using dcraddrgen or at https://wallet.decred.org/

It is always good to have a few backups, if you can write it down and put the paper somewhere safe and offsite you will have much less chance of losing your coins. Remember, with backups: Two is one and one is none...

    The 3 2 1 rule of backups.
    3 copies
on at least 2 different devices,
with 1 in a separate geographic location.

I like the 3 2 1 rule. Unfortunately I feel lucky if I get 2 of 3 (sometimes even 1 of 3). I find myself procrastinating due to other interesting things in the crypto world. Need to find a way to discipline/organise myself in order to adopt 3 2 1. Good security is all about building habits like 3 2 1 backup rule.

If you have an older digital (no wifi) camera take a picture of your computer screen. Just be reasonable about the "older" part.
