For some reason my Paymetheus is stuck downloading block 33,183. I'm running windows 7 and the latest version of Paymetheus(1.0.5). Any ideas? Thanks

I think I replied to this on reddit too but in case it was a different one, have you tried stopping and restarting Paymetheus. It is possible you are connected to a bad peer.

Yes, that is my post on reddit. Thanks for taking the time out your day to assist, going to paste my reply here also for viability.

I was also randomly getting a header error while Paymetheus would open my wallet. Decided to nuke it all, reinstalled the software, deleted the chain data along with the wallet file. Started the restore processes lastnight. I noticed the data folder stopped at 1.75 gigs (not sure how large the chain is) and when I checked on it this morning, it was still responding and doing its thing. Hopefully it will figure itself out by by the time I get home tonight.

Once I am able to check on its status again tonight I will update this post. Hopefully all goes well, if not I can post the contents of my log files.

Current total size (on my linux box) for mainnet is 1.9G so you are almost there.

That's interesting, lastnight it was was at 1.75GB and it was the same when I checked on it this morning. Wonder why it stopped, hopefully it picks back up during the course of the day.

    Whatever I want.
Apparently I've been *way* overestimating the size of my DCR blockchain.

My mainnet folder is at 1.75GB(it seems to grow and then shrink back down to this size) of data and Paymetheus still says "Restoring Wallet (rescanning) Rescanned 6,284 blocks" which is exactly what it said last night. The latest .fdb file in my blocks_ffldb folder is 000000002.fdb with a size of 309,783 KB (growing very slowly as I type this up)
According to the dcrwallet.log it is still doing stuff with the chain, here are some lines.
    2017-07-24 19:16:07.638 [INF] WLLT: Connecting block 00000000000000657a556ac78f5e25e04596600cfb42e5fd69b4e89f72451f08, height 153744

Here are a few lines in the LOG file (\mainnet\blocks_ffldb\metadata)
    19:20:35.893786 table@remove removed @12499

It appears that .ldb files are still being created inside the metadata folder and the chain is still being downloaded but at a insanely slow speed. I am going to include both those log files. I trimmed down the dcrwallet.log file so that I can meet the file limitations.

Appears not much has changed since yesterday. The download is at a crawl, the 000000002.fdb file has only increased about 3,000 KB. I've opened port 9108 in an attempt to increase the download speed to no avail. No quite sure why the first half of the chain downloaded at a reasonable speed and the last half is almost at a stand still. Is there a place where the chain is hosted so that I can do a direct download of it to get the ball rolling? I am weary about shutting down Paymetheus and restarting it as I don't want to cause unexpected problems.
