When launching a PoS mining, there's a flag used to specify the amount of fee in percentage. Out of curiosity, what happen if you specify a value that does not match the pool fee requirement. Ie: using 4% or 10% instead of the commonly used 5%.
Pool will refuse the ticket (you can see it in "Invalid Tickets" table in your Stakepool "Tickets" page). So your dcrwallet should be online (--enablestakemining) and unlocked to vote using this ticket.
Not only Invalid, but any ticket; it's how this multisig stuff works. If tomorrow I decide to shutdown the stakepool with 10.000 live tickets, you can still vote with your live pool tickets in Solo mode. That's why stakepools are absolutely safe and everybody should use them
