what this means? Ticket prices not yet established because the client was recently connected; aborting ticket purchase attempts it was going to purchase but hadn't enough time for it?
Let the dcrd terminal run for atleast 40-60secs, so that it can load all data and latest block. then use the command.
Hi man, question: Just wanted to subscribe in stakepool, but this message popped up: "Stakepool is currently not processing RPC commands so most functionality of the web interface will not work until connections to the RPC server is restored. Wallets are still online and voting." Any idea whatI can do about it?
Some maintenance work must be on. Try after some time. This happened before too. After some hours Everything should be normal.
ok good, but where i see my locked balance for the purchase of the ticket, the system sent those coin on another of my address btw why the wallet is creating other address at will?
/dcrctl -u "username" -P "password" --wallet getbalance "default" 0 all this will show full balance. Including locked decreds. another address?
yeah i was looking at the wallet address and i've seen that new addresses were created, based on what?
Did u create them? I don't think they are automatically created. But I may be wrong Check with others.
no i didn't that's why i'm asking btw still no luck with voting, and ticket was purchased 3 hours ago, i'm unlucky or this is normal?
On average i believe its 28 days (50% chance of voting withing the first 28 days) and you have like a 98% chance of voting within about 140 days, after which if you don't vote you would get your DCR back. Every block your probability of a single ticket voting is approximately 5/41000.
@Toplel Yes more ticket means more chances to vote. I have seen that 70-100 tickets were giving me 2-4 votes per day until now. This will change with how many people are staking. Also the wallet creates new change addresses to send your coins back to you. It never uses same address twice by default. This is done for security/privacy i think but i am not sure, maybe someone can clear this. To see only locked coins you can use Code: dcrctl -u "username" -P "password" --wallet getbalance "default" 0 locked
