U can check your updated balance with Code: dcrctl -u user -P pass --wallet getbalance "default" 0 all
i am running the same wallet on two different computers, use this command the rusult is different. i am confused
I did a similar thing, but never had both running at same time..... See my trials and tribulations on moving a PoS wallet here https://forum.decred.org/threads/moving-pos-wallet.743/#post-10791
if i have all the same ticket hashes even if i run the command getticket 0 or 1, are all they "immature" and will never get chosen for voting? Expected 1 flag Received 0 flag can anyone explain the difference? thx
Even im facing same problem 0 and 1 gives me same ticket hashes . but still im able to vote so far 5 votes
Can someone explain this statement? Because only 20 stake tickets are allowed per block, check to see how many tickets are in mempool and how many tickets are in the last block. To get tickets into a block, you will need to have higher fees than other tickets in the mempool. thx in advance to anyone will answer!!!!!
Lucien - I think that means that when mining, a miner will include the top 20 tickets into the block in terms of transaction fee; to maximise their profit. This means if more than 20 people have submitted ticket buying transactions during this block's mining time, then yours won't be included unless you increase the fee. The default fee seems to be 0.05DCR. What happens when, over time, the reward for voting drops to be 0.05DCR? Then people will stop buying tickets to vote, and no-one will issue votes. I guess before that happens the transaction fee will be dropped?
this means that all the 20 ticket purchased by my wallet prior block 4096, won't be selected ever? thank's, lot confusing this stake ability!!!!!!!
Ill suggest to go through this thread https://forum.decred.org/threads/is-pos-working.531/#post-8094 And all tickets u purchased before block 4096 are valid .
No, once your ticket is purchased and included into a block, it's valid. The difference is between submitted transactions, and transactions which have actually been included in a block. Each block only includes 20 ticket transactions, so if there are more submitted transactions than 20, not all of them will go into that block, but might get into a later block.
how ticketmaxprice works ? Singular strategy ? High Value on top of list ? if i set only 1 can i never vote ?
Many folks seem to have problem keeping wallets online 24/7. Lots of blocks with less than 5 votes. That cuts into PoW miner rewards and sucks. Edit: No need to mention I think that it hurts those that fail to cast their vote too
