    You can use separate address for mining & you only need to import the airdrop seed if you want to use those coins, otherwise you can always import it later. Although don't use this guide for importing once you have created a wallet without importing. You need to create a fresh wallet to import coins as @davecgh has said on this forum.

    Can we get a sample of a drcd.conf where we fill in the blanks with out info? The samples in quick reference are crazy huge and i know we dont need all that.

    I have presently skipped the wallet portion, Spayse...trying to get miner up.

    I get found share for pool 0! but no accept or reject message after it? Have I done anything wrong setting up start_local.bat?

    @Bl0ckchain & @zero probably our blocks are orphaned/not accepted. Lots of people are mining but only one block is accepted every 5 mins.

    @Spayse please dont panic, just follow the guide. You dont need to keep the wallet open once you get an address for solo mining.

    Anything wrong on my start_local.bat:

    cgminer --blake256 -o https://127.0.0.1:9109 -u "dcrdusername" -p "dcrdpassword" --cert "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Dcrd\rpc.cert"

    I have username and password in quotes but that was no problem in testnet.
