I think there are a lot of non-technical but helpful people in our community. I'm one of them. So my question is: How can we help the community? Is there any kind of proposal or little task what we could do? (If there is no solution for this problem my advice is: open a new a request for proposal thread for non-technical users.)
Help with the documentation! https://docs.decred.org/ Your perspective has the best ability to translate and explain in terms that new users can understand. This is an extremely valuable contribution.
Make an intro video. Make a powerpoint slideshow howto. Update the howtos as mentioned above. This would be really useful. In the real world you must provide value to be compensated. There is no free lunch. To say no one cares about you is part of the problem. Other than in a general sense that you are a human being and I wish you no harm or ill will why should I care if you do nothing to benefit the general public or me personally?
You could write about DCR on reddit, facebook, twitter about everything that's happening with Decred. That would certainly help the community grow. Cheers!
I am going to create more RFPs for Dcrstats related projects this month. No tech skills required, mostly marketing stuff, blog and social network posts, SEO optimization tasks. Also you can write tutorial for Dcrstats. 5 DCR is not that big reward looking at current market price, but we all know that it will increase. I need low price mostly for protection, I don't want to set price to 50 DCR / tutorial and receive 10.000 articles the same day If you can draw some nice banners I am ready to pay too. If you have a website where you can add such banners and you can share statistic of monthly unique visitors, I'm ready to pay too.
