so i am really new to this and i am trying to mine DCR thru my computer, i have downloaded a CPU miner and i have put the command C: cd C:\miner C:\miner\minerd.exe -a decred -o stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252-u username.workername -p workerpassword obviously with my real username and worker name etc. the pool the worker and the account are done with suprnova and for the moment i am only using my computer (core i7 intel) to mine. it looks like the program is running well, sometime there is a failure message but then in reconnects. the only thing that i am concerned about is that i cant see any change in my account at Suprnova, no earning whatsoever and not a single change in the other details (such as my hashare etc) my question is-is it normal? how long does it take given you have only one simple device before you can see any actual earning\updates in your account at suprnova?
CPU mining is obsolete for DCR. You need some decent GPU-s for mining. Most likely your hashrate is so low that is not recognized by pool. Maybe if you leave it for few day you will see some changes in your account.
