Hi, I set up the web wallet with my seed and I can see my balance so everything looks fine here but I have a couple of questions.

    - I don't see a log-in option meaning someone with access to my computer can see my balance and addresses. I know I can set up a password for spending funds but it doesn't help protecting the points I mentioned. Am I missing something? The web wallet is nothing like GreenAddress isn't it?

    - What exactly happens when I delete my wallet? Let's say I want to use it in another computer. I exported the wallet (is it the private key?) and imported on another computer. Can I safely delete my "old" wallet?

    - What are the files that I must protect at all cost. Does the 33-word seed is all I need or should I keep back ups of something else?

    Thank you for your help.

I don't know much about the web wallet, but yes, I believe your are correct. In your first points. I think it's going to be replaced soon anyway.

Nothing happens when you delete your wallet. All coins are kept in the blockchain. Your wallet just allows you to create new transactions in it. It is your seed words that identify a particular address and the funds within it as being yours. Hence the only thing you need back up are those words, although you should back up the associated hex too. It allows you to ensure you entered the words correctly when restoring.

Also, don't run two wallets with the same seed at the same time. They will get out of sync and see different balances (you won't lose any coins, but due to the way addresses are cached, they won't talk to each other to share new addresses).

The hex you mentioned is the extended public key?

    Thank you!

No, it should give you your seed words then under that there should be a line that says:
    Hex: <long string>

You don't absolutely need it, but it's handy for when you rebuild your wallet. You can check that hex against the original one to make sure they match.

And the obligatory PSA: Your hex is just as important as your seed, and should never be shared.
