    Hello,

I retrieved my wallet with my seed using the GUI wallet, and I was then asked to create a private passphrase. I created a new one. Then, I was able to get my wallet properly, but I can't create a new account, I have a message saying "invalid passphrase for master private key". when I type my new private passphrase.

Does anyone know how to deal with this issue ?

Which GUI wallet, decrediton or Paymetheus?

Assuming you are using a recent version of the GUI (and if not you really should update) there should only be a single passphrase, the one you made when you created the wallet. Is it possible that you have the passphrase incorrect?

Hello, thanks for your reply !

I am using Paymetheus, which is updated. I retrieved my wallet using my seed, but I was asked to create a private passphrase, so I entered a new one. When I wanted to create a new account on the GUI, I entered the new passphrase (several times, so there shouln't be any typing error).

What version of paymetheus are you using? There used to be a public and private passphrase but I think that has been gone for a long time.
If you are on slack, our #support channel might be helpful.

I'm using the version 1.0.5, I remember the public and private passphrase from the testnet, but I was only asked to create a private passphrase.
I'll try to look for help on slack, thanks for the advice !

Unfortunately there's not much to go by here, except to rule out the possibility of a typo. Could you recreate the wallet and copy paste the private passphrase wherever it is needed?
