I have a PoS wallet that has been working great this past year. I'm trying to move to PoS pools, since many are available now.

Slowly, I've been waiting for the PoS tickets to get picked or expire, then I move the funds to my Paymetheus wallet where I will purchase tickets on some of the various PoS pools.

Is there a way to let my current PoS wallet automatically payout to my Paymetheus wallet so I don't have to watch this every day?

    Thank you.

Why do you want to use 2 different wallets? You can continue using your old wallet db / seed, if will manually copy / replace it.

Paymetheus didn't let me use my old seed, it made me create a new wallet, unless I missed something.

You cannot create wallet using Paymetheus GUI, but you still able to create a wallet from seed using dcrwallet, as you did for you PoS wallet before. And then use this existing wallet in Paymetheus. If you read this description, you will find that Paymetheus is just UI wrapper for dcrwallet: https://github.com/decred/Paymetheus

I am solo PoS mining since Jun and I haven't missed a ticket yet. To keep it this way, I am thinking to move to a pool. I have a very basic question which I haven't find the answer yet.
If I am not mistaken, I would need to run my wallet only to purchase tickets then I can close it down. Can I close down the daemon as well, or I would still need to run it 24x7?

No, as soon as you have purchased the tickets with your wallet you can switch off the wallet and the daemon.

While you register at the pool website you will exchange a publickey and an importScript with the pool. After the initialization your wallet will purchase tickets and give automatically voting rights to the stakepool.
