Start Mining

Having a security system as Blake is a major thing already and also many more improvements than Bitcoin, fron security to the community itself and also the very friendly and community-pro devs.

 

I think some GPU/FPGA farms are already on the case so there may be a big spike (if not a permanent rise) in speeds at the very start.

There is also the PoS part that I don't quite understand fully yet. Interesting to see how that works.

As @Freedom2Choose stated you should stay away from Cryptsy. There have been many blatant signs that all is not well with them and that they are likely running a fractional reserve exchange which could collapse at any moment... If this happens your money and coins will be lost.

 

I've had two friends who had problems with them. Totally shady.

We are the victims of ourselves on the internet. There is so much misery when it comes to gaining a fast buck. I guess we just need to be carefully driven in our actions. Think twice. It's easy to realise if it's a scam but there are so many people that actually it's easier to scam.

 

Is that from testing the GPU miner for Decred? Any AMD results for comparison?

 

Oh yes, it comes from the developer, but bear in mind that it's "preliminary". As far as I know speed fluctuates with the whole network structure.

Anyway if the developers find time, it would be great to have even preliminary test results of the GPU Miner on several GPUs might used. This might help some newcomers even more at preparing their pcs for it.

If you're having trouble downloading/compiling with git and go don't worry. This will be unnecessary when the devs release the binaries, all you will have to do to generate a wallet is double click... If you are trying to do it yourself for the learning experience, feel free to ask questions here.

Hello the algo blake256 14 round... for Decred are now used from Saffroncoin exatly?? now i testing my miner whit this cgminer version modded for this.. this miner version is supported and valid for mining decred? i have found this info here:
