Update: The Decred were recovered by restoring the original folders in the appdata folder then running dcrd and allowing it to fully syn before running Paymetheus. In October I successfully installed Paymetheus on a Windows 10 machine. I recently wiped the hard drive of Windows in favor of Linux. I have backups of the wallet seeds and the 4 appdata/local folders created by Decred and Paymetheus. I was surprised to find that the seeds produce a balance of zero when imported into the Decred web wallet. Transactions showed the funds leaving the wallet in one single transaction at the time I installed the Paymetheus wallet in October. None of the transactions I'd done with Paymetheus were shown. Looking into my backups of the appdata folders I see that Prometheus produces a second wallet.db file in a folder called appdata/Decred/Paymetheus/mainnet/ Over the past 24 hours I've tried reinstalling the current version of Paymetheus on another Windows machine, with no success. Firstly I followed the Paymetheus instructions and imported the wallet seeds, but Paymetheus returned errors and stalled while blocks were being scanned. Now I've deleted all the new appdata folders and replaced then with the backed up versions, but Paymetheus appears to have crashed again. I'd appreciate any ideas on how to recover my funds. Thanks.
Glad you got it sorted. Paymetheus looks like it's frozen on the first load while it downloads the block chain. This usually takes about an hour. After that, you can enter PM, but it will be scanning all the blocks looking for your transactions. As such, until it finds them, it will report a 0 balance. Once it has finished scanning all blocks, your funds will be present.
