Thanks for visiting this post. I have little experience with forums, and, other than one post, no experience with social media. I hope that visiting members will give ideas of what forum venues might be good to get readership for “The Adventures of Decred Dix,” of which the introductory announcement was posted in Off-Topic on April 23rd, and also "A Decred Hoarder and a Nay-sayer," which was posted in Off-Topic on April 1st. If you like the stories, then please let your friends and forum buddies know about them. @Noah had/has a nice blog. Something like that may be conducive to sharing the stories - perhaps prior to binding them in a true book. https://forum.decred.org/threads/decred-discovery-thank-you-all.5286/
Thanks for your interest. I’ll visit the site. Since posting the Announcement, I’ve had thoughts of making changes to the story and its posting schedules. First thing is, as I plan to use the name of everyone’s treasured coin in my stories, it would be best if I could get some feedback of how decred coiners feel about this. Maybe my characters’ name should be something non-coin-specific, such as Crypto Calvin. Also, I’m not going to be able to stop myself from villainizing New York’s NYDFS in the story, (indulging my pleasure in this), and there could be members who don’t want their coin’s name involved. Any thoughts on this from members would be helpful so that I don’t start something that’s not good for decred and not right by the coin holders and so many others who have given so much of their time and efforts to bring this special coin to where it is now. Thanks for your interest and your help!
As a Decred enthusiast, I like seeing Decred in your works in any way you, as an artist/author, see fit.
Thanks! This project is a lot of work and i needed that. Having taken a better look at my plans, i've decided that this thriller series will be named "Tracking Satoshi's Killer" and our hero, the sailor, will be a cyber detective/hack. While our hero won't have decred in his name, it will be his favorite coin and i plan to lace that into the story. I'll soon post a revised announcement with a revised synopsis, and at that time, hopefully, a firm schedule for the posting of the episodes.
