    It's v0.0.4 aka cgminer-decred-w64_08022016.

Why does it go away with the solution I have posted? Well, actually it still happens but very very rarely. Trying to understand...

Nope, I think I'd have to recompile the wallet and could TRY that with the lower tx fee but it's like playing with fire at the early stage of the coin - what if something goes wrong and the TX'es get stuck/unconfirmed or lost completely ?

256 Confirmations are also hardcoded into the wallet, nothing much I can do here.

Uhm, I think I can't help here, thats a Bleutrade/Bittrex or more a coin issue itself - a pool cannot do much here, the blocktime of the coin is supposed to be 5 min, which is relatively long, so transactions are not as speedy as with Vanillacoin or Dash...

What url are you using to mine? I see there are multiple diff settings , 1, 4 and 8? what does this mean and what would be best for a 1 GH/s card?

You want to submit one share every 5-10 seconds. So just choose a port which can handle that for you, it'll probably be the diff 4 port.

I'm now at diff 1 port, getting message "Accepted e6e9eg7e7 blabla diff 3/1 GPU 0" every 5 to 10 secs, cgminer tells me: A:1340 R:29 HW:0 WU: 0.0/m

When i mine solo the WU is much higher.

So lets say i use my local commandline wallet, what files or information do I need to backup if my pc would crash? lets call it a disaster recovery plan

This worked for me as well as well. Thanks for that. It happens at times but rarely now (prevhash-stale maybe 1%). Unknown user was the last reason I received whatever that means, however fixed itself.

    @Metallicelmo,
URL I'm using is http://dcr.maxminers.net:7728. I know, it's not even the pool for this thread, but this thread keeps pulling me back :). This is difficulty 4 (that pool offers only difficulty 1 and 4 presently). I can't speak to what the different difficulties mean and intend to read about this myself. I'll say, however, running at the difficulty 1 vs. 4 links for that same pool, I've observed higher accepted shares (100%) at difficulty 4, than at difficulty 1 (varied from 95 - 99%). As a result, DCR earnings at the higher difficulty have been slightly higher, but a statistician might argue not enough data to demonstrate any difference (yet).

Hmm, i cant get it to work optimal. My pc has a HD6950 in it, mining +/- 1200 ghz, with an acceptable rate of rejects and zero hw errors.
It is showing 1200ghz in cgminer and jumping up and down from 400 to 800 on the dashboard of the pool. I have tried other versions of cgminer (v0.0.3 and 0.0.4) and that makes no diffrence. I have tried differtent difficulties and different intensities but that doesnt help either. Also have i tried another pool and that seems to have the same problem on the dashboard with my HD6950.

Mined on an other pc with a HD7950 with cgminer 0.0.4 and on both your pool and coinmax i get a steady 900mhz (same as cg miner is showing).

Anyone knows what else might causing this problem? Could it be a AMD catalyst problem? of maybe something in my config file?

Everything is looking good here, the pure Dashboard Data is not 100% reliable, have a look at your "Workers" Tab in "Account" and check the hashrate there, if it's stable there, you're good.

I've got the same thing, cgminer tells me 1.0 GH/s all the time, but no matter what pool I use, the pool tells me I'm mining at a constant 480 KH/s, half the speed. Do all the pools have the wrong numbers or am I actually mining at only 480 KH/s ?

In mining, what provides the most hashing power? is it clock speed or memory?

The tx fee can't be changed?? Hmm, that 0.05 is like 5-10 cent (USD) per DCR, that is very high for any coin.
