Suprnova's Dcr Pool

It's just the equivalent of 130 decent GPUs.

This photo was posted here previously by @toad. It show appr. 180 GPUs if I count right.

 

BTW its 0.05 DCR/ tx, so it depends on how many coins you want to send. Although i agree that a) its high by any measure and b) i am annoyed that why is it fixed? with every coin we can choose the fee.

 

Anyone can explain this?

That's already 2,080 Gh/s for these four pools combined.

However: Net Hash 1,668,651.85 MH/s

And there must be other pools and large solo miners too because many blocks are not found by these four pools.

 

There's a new fix for default fee in a recent commit:

Just to clarify, this isn't my setup on the picture above! I wish it was... but it's not. What I can assure however is this: big miners are in and they getting already most of the minable coins. DCR is not different than any coins; you and I are only getting the dust left. The only way we can have more coins in our wallet is by setting up our own ''Poorman'' pool like I stated earlier. A pool with no fees (or extremely minimal).

 

I hope they release it soon, no use for most until then.

 

Pools have a 1% fee. How will less than that improve situation significantly? IMHO only solution is to get more hashpower and cheaper electricity.

Well, you'll read about them once they are RTM but if you followed https://forum.decred.org/threads/improvement-rate-of-asics-developed-for-blake256.197/ and think about the others coins that use Blake256, I don't see why they wouln't get released in 2016.

And which other coins use Blake256 and would make it economically feasible to develop an ASIC for them? Not even DCR does and will for a long time.

 

You'll not read about them before they are RTM, you have to deduct it for now. Are you living under a rock or something? Ever heard of Bitcoin? In a year you'll get the same hashrate as your GPUs with an USB stick.

 

Never heard about that Bitcoin thing but I'm glad that you found out about it yesterday. So you are spreading BS about Chinese already prototyping ASIC for DCR mining and now you feel very cool? And in 10 years you'll get the same hashrate with your toothbrush?
