So i am not alone. Also i am absolutely sure that it is the diff change. Diff hasn't changed in last 10 mins and its working totally normal now. Fixed diff ports or diff setting via password field (like -p diff=4) will solve this i think.
Nope, the units are right - here's a SS of it. ... and that mininghwcomparison.com site is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. Seriously, it's pretty much unusable. The only other listed 980 ti on there is at 1.8MH/s on a non-CUDA miner... not sure why you think that 2.3 is so far off?
Because I remember that I read somewhere on a mining blog that it hashed only 1.4GH/s on BlakeCoin, which would make it significantly less on 14 rounds of Decred. Its hardware specs also point to rather 1.xGH/s and not 2.xGH/s. I guess you have it overclocked to 1.3GHz. That would be the only way to somehow explain that hashrate.
That is possible with good cooling/low ambient temps. I am getting 1.3 GH/s on 970 with ccminer 1.7.4. and ambient is in 30s.
Yea im getting drops in WU's :/ gpu sits idle for a couple mins then kicks in again using ccminer 1.7.4
It's raining blocks. Global hashrate now at over 5TH/s. If difficulty will really go to 400k and those 1-2TH/s will disappear again, we will have a really slow 288 blocks following.
@Strannik-74 set -m 10 in the ccminer batch file, this will multiply the stratum diff by 10. 1 x 10 = 10 and it keeps it from stalling since the stratum change a week or so ago. Still dunno what happened but it was always set to 10 more or less and no it bounces between 1 and 2 so just set -m 10 and it doesn't stall 90-95% of the time now.
Could you put together a step by step video on you site to mine for decred (pow)? I have signed up and downloaded the software and unzipped it and made a worker but nothing seem to connect. I have mined Bitcoin in the past with bitminer and their client. Just looking for some help
This definitely helped, I had to adjust the m value based on my cards. It helped, but wasn't enough to keep my cards consistently loaded, so I ended up switching to longpoll for now. It's much more stable, but still has issues with cycling hashrates when compared to cgminer.
Wuh-oh, something's up with the Suprnova pool. Keep getting the invalid credentials thing. This is about 11PST on Wednesday 3/16
Seems like the pool is experiencing periods of problems again. I get about a 5 minute period every now and again where the pool just stops responding or providing work, or it gives me the invalid credentials thing. Is something going on behind the scenes to make this happen?
