Yeah I've noticed it as well. My ccminer will have periods of time where it stops receiving work orders from Supr then it crashes. It's happened 3 times in the last 2 days, just happened again around 15 minutes ago. A friend of mine having similar problems. Wonder what's going on. Edit: Just happened again; also site cannot be reached. This site can’t be reached dcr.suprnova.cc refused to connect. ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
Even the website acts like it is experiencing a DDOS attack. Would be nice for the OP to chime in to let us know what the issue is. Makes it hard to transfer funds when you can't even access the website.
A DDOS again, yup, i've blocked the attacking IP's and everything is back up. I wonder when this guy will stop doing this ...
Appears Bleutrade is getting hit as well. Although I'm a bit confused as they are using CloudFlare which appears to be functioning properly, so maybe not a DDOS. Not being able to access 99% of your coins has a bit of a pucker factor to say the least. I may do less trading and more cold storing just for the peace of mind.
Seems like a hardware problem apparently. Dear user, we are conducting a non-scheduled maintenance on our servers. This can take several hours. The problem is hardware and requires a great replacement. Your balance is safe. We apologize for the inconvenience. We'll be back as soon as possible.
Yea I just saw that as I can't help to refresh the page every view minutes. Call me paranoid, but the Mt Gox incident is what drives me to question the possibilities.
Had the same idea. I'm working at the moment so I viewed it when I had time and just refreshed occasionally. Finally that was posted, so hopefully fixed overnight / by morning.
@ocminer has suprnova considered implementing CloudFlare? DDOS attacks will no doubt only get worse as time progresses. Some sites can be taken offline for months if the attackers are persistent enough.
@ocminer is there any fix to the problem where miner stops every time diff changes? This is a poolside problems as it doesn't happen on other pools. Please look into that. Its pretty annoying & hurts the card with frequent temp changes. Also, pool is missing 10s of block at a time and overall returns at least for me are worst than pool.mn & coinmine. For now i have moved my miners to coinmine as pool.mn has 0.1 withdrawal fee. Also please look into reducing the tx fee. Thanks for your work.
I'm rewriting the stratum stuff currently, it will be better soon, in the meanwhile just use getwork. Withdrawal fee has been lowered already to 0.025 and I'll keep lowering it if everything goes right. It's good to spread the hash around, so there is no problem if you're mining at pool.mn, maxminers or coinmine.
It would be nice to see other pools lowering this fee as well. Also it would be good for other pools to have a thread at decred forum. Right now I can only find threads for suprnova and coinmine. I think we can only get feedback from others through bitcointalk.
@ocminer Hey there. I sent an email to the admin email address on the main pool page about this but haven't heard back, so I thought I'd try here. I put in a manual payment on Sunday and the status shows confirmed, however there is not TX# listed like the other payments I've received. I checked my transactions to wallet and on the block explorer and can't find the payment. Would you be able to look into this? Thanks.
Hi ! I'm sorry it seems I did not see your mail, there was a stuck payment which has now been sent out, if you're still missing something, just PM me the missing TX number on the left.
WTF, 30 blocks now without luck for suprnova, at 1/3 of total hashrate! Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network) 4 minutes 58 seconds Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool) 15 minutes 23 seconds Est. Shares this Round 286,113 (done: 966.03%) Next Network Block 13,649 (Current: 13,648) Last Block Found 13,618 Time Since Last Block 2 hours 36 minutes 30 seconds Update: Est. Shares this Round 286,113 (done: 1015.4%) I've never seen such a high "done" value before. Update2: 1,042.14% and found
These few days the luck wasn't all that good.. Just wondering if there is anything wrong with the pool or the whole lot of us have super bad luck resulting in a failure to find block despite it's avg is about 15 mins and 1/3 of total hashrate? Anyone else keeping track of their earnings?? Mine dropped quite abit. Any thoughts?
@ocminer: Pool's response is sluggish since 10 minutes. From two totally different locations, hence not a problem on this side. Another DDoS right when diff was adjusted?
Yes, rewards get smaller because global hashrate is growing on average. It's now almost never below 4TH/s and there was a disturbing peak of 6.5TH/s a few days ago. I should switch to solo mining (or private pool) in the short term because in the past couple of weeks the rewards from the pool(s) have been significantly lower than the daily blocks found personally.
