If you're 64 bit, you should use cgminer 0.0.3, cgminer 0.0.4 was made for 32 bits. With regards to the vector settings I believe you can easily edit them via the config file. I currently can't check my miner for you as I stopped mining for a while due to relocation. Sgminer, maybe this is what you're looking for here I don't know if 290x is suppose to get 2.6gh pure rate but it don't really seem possible to me, so yea, might be the vector that is causing that or the version. Check them out =).
Anything to do about crazy high reject rates? I'm getting 20%+ rejects no matter what difficulty is used. Most often, several shares will get rejected in a row, and it's not because there is new work.

It's over already. It was only for half an hour or so. Now the pool has more than 50% of the total hashrate.
yea, seems like they are trying to sum up the blocks found and payout yea? We have a couple of blocks found and no payouts yet for the past 1 hour or so hmm
Yeah because of the attack a cronjob got stuck, the pool is fine and the cronjobs are catching up, everything will be fine pretty soon.
Hello, I started mining decred recently on your suprnova pool. I understand your website encountered difficulties, but I have been trying to add a wallet address to it and I keep receiving ''Invalid coin address''. I dont quite understand since I create a web wallet on wallet.decred.org, so I am just copy/pasting the receiving address like I used to do with other pools mining other currencies. Am I missing something? Thanks!!!
No, just uncheck the testnet box in the web wallet. You have probably created a wallet on the testnet and tried to add a testnet address (starts with Ts). You want to work on mainnet (starts with Ds). Unless you try to mine testnet coins of course, but then suprnova isn't mining testnet coins since long time...
I tried to see where I could uncheck or change that on the web wallet, it's a failure at that moment. It seems to be stuck on the testnet. It always feels wrong that it's setting up wallets with testnet by default. Any idea? Thanks man
I am not using it but I think it is somewhere under advanced settings or such. Yes, it should not be on testnet by default. That would be a total joke if it is true.
For future references, The first wallet on the web that is created is on testnet by default, so you have to create another one by clicking the left tab. Once you click +Add a new wallet, more interesting options are shown with the testnet on-off. Many thanks!

Anyone still using the official decred cgminer 0.0.4? I noticed something strange. The cgminer.exe process usually is using appr. 90% of CPU (as shown in task manager) and all cards in the rig run at full hashrate and temperatures are nicely kept at 75°C (shown in cgminer window). However from time to time cgminer.exe drops to 50% CPU usage and cards' hashrates drop also to appr. 50% (cgminer window), but the temperature of the card drops only by a few °C and they are not the same on all cards anymore, like 72, 60, 69... like something would interfere. The pool then shows a lower hashrate for the worker which fits to what the local cgminer window shows. It isn't a problem with the pool it seems, because cgminer is hashing nicely, no "not providing work fast enough" or similar messages. When all this happens, i.e. when cgminer CPU usage drops and all of the above starts to happen, a svchost.exe process appears suddenly in task manager (owned by SYSTEM, not by user) which is using the other 50% of the CPU so total CPU usage in task manager goes to full 100% and stays there. Once I kill that svchost.exe the cgminer.exe goes up again to 90% CPU usage and all cards go back to full hashrate in cgminer window and in pool dashboard. I have to suspect that this svchost.exe is a masked instance of cgminer that possibly mines for a third party. Here are the hashes of the cgminer 0.0.4 I am using: SHA-1 051246209C19B92C968EA55FD8C84625710C5F98 SHA-256 D7179BA32FA16C956063F6FC29AE04979F1AA7F590E077AC93EB29EF4F782D4E Anyone noticed this on his rigs as well?
Yes the issues you have noticed are known and are being worked on: https://github.com/decred/cgminer/commits/3.7 There's still some work to be done to get everything merged, tested, and new binaries released. In the mean time, you may want to try ccminer for Nvidia cards or sgminer for AMD: https://github.com/tpruvot/ccminer/releases https://github.com/tpruvot/sgminer/releases
I hope this wasn't an implicit confirmation of my assumption The official decred cgminer creates a shadow instance masking as a windows process and mines for a third party?
