Hello everyone i am new to this community i have been seeing the drecred community and i have been interested in your project your ideas are incredible, however the code is not so didactic for other people, for example i would like to use your code base To create a project for a cryptocurrency own, but in view of not having tools that can help this adventure as cryptonote, has cost me to know how to start considering my null experience in advanced programming and math, I know some will say ,why this person who does not Know anything code wants to use our source code to make a competition for your cryptocurrency? ,is that I would really like to be able to put this cryptocurrency for a community project of its own but I can not do it since no programmer supports me in its environment
Creating a new cryptocurrency ("CC") based on an existing one, e.g. Decred, typically requires a lot of technical understanding of how CCs work at a general level, and some familiarity with the particular code you'll be forking from. In order to start a new CC, you need a minimum of 2 things: (1) some ideas about new features or tools you want to add and (2) one or more developers who can convert those ideas into working code. With Decred and most other CCs, the code is public and readily available, so it's just a matter of building on top of Decred's source code.
One thing we learned with decred is that there are a LOT of pieces you need to touch to make a new cryptocurrency. The daemon, the wallet, a block explorer, mining code, and on and on. We started with a very clean and well documented codebase (btcsuite) for most parts and it was still a significant chunk of work requiring several people. Not trying to discourage, just want to make sure the scope of the work is clear.
I would like at least a cryptocurrency that has the same level of security as decred since the concepts ,it is more difficult and rather for that reason my reticence to use it but considering that the group that I belong in less than 12 Hours they did a DDOS attack I've been thinking that's why I see the didactic code so that other alternatives can be used cryptonote in that has advantage however its code is old and does not ensure protection against attacks on the cryptocurrency
