Hello, My transaction about 0.60 DCR is still unconfirmed after 9 days! Why is this? What can I do about it? https://mainnet.decred.org/address/DsnU3isPnKaAXDh7sc6hwf5s62bBKNKV5Zk Thank you!
You're looking at the Decred address, not the transaction. The only transaction associated with that address was this one: https://mainnet.decred.org/tx/09ac03ad1482e2f3a21ffe8c4cfe7e024581348fd68929ac063f2b92d9f82994 It was confirmed 2581 blocks ago (about 8.9 days ago).
I was about to write something similar but hesitated as I could not explain why the TX is associated with that address but the addresses totals are all 0. So there is a confirmed transaction but the address is shown with an unconfirmed one... how does this play together / whats the relation between these two status?
You're right... that is weird. The transaction is confirmed, but the address is showing an unconfirmed balance. I'm really not sure on this one!
Devs need to shake few more bugs from chain explorer. It is not 100% reliable yet so don't take it for gtanted (yet).
Okay, but it's not the problem of the chain explorer, in my wallet i can see that my balance is 0.0 DCR So there is some REAL problem with this transaction or i don't know what exactly, and that is somehow shown in the explorer. Any suggestion?
Hi @Nick Exa Do you use web wallet? I think both web wallet & blockchain explorer have some UI bugs and they are not reliable. Try to use some GUI wallet (afaik, Coinomi and Exoduds coming soon). Join our slack to get faster support: https://slack.decred.org/
Hi @Dyrk Thank you for your help! I use Decredition 1.0.2 Sometimes it starts with an error and I have to click 'Retry' and on second try or third it works, but balance is 0.
Okay, now I can see it in my wallet. I don't know why, but I can see the 0.60 DCR in my wallet now. Thanks for all of your help! Peace!
@Nick Exa : out of pure interest; i suppose you are still using the same wallet in the same version as before? can you share what finally led to the DCR 0.6 to show up or did you do nothing at all and it just worked all of a sudden? i came back to your thread today and just found that the explorer now also shows the expected values and no more stuck tx.
@antiplex: No, I didn't do anything. It just worked. But I guess it is not about the wallet, it's about the blockchain. Because the explorer changed as well. Although the wallet also had some problem to connect to the RPC server or something similar but that was another issue, that didn't affected the confirmation problem.
