So I was reading through @_ingsoc's earlier announcement about our development roadmap and one thing that caught my eye was the short-term goal of starting up the initial Decred Assembly. It got me thinking, because whereas I suck at development and thus haven't been able to contribute to Decred's growth very much (beyond learning the system, helping a few people here and there and running a 24/7 public node) helping manage the project and being a part of shaping its future very much interests me. I'm a manager by trade and planning and leading projects very much makes me happy, and I know there are people out there who can do it better than I can. It made me wonder who else has maybe been hanging out in the wings and is interested in stepping up to be a part of leading Decred's future and what your thoughts were on what kind of shape you think this might take.
I like the way you think. My recommendation is to start spending time on github.com/decred , to learn what the team is doing. You can comment and interact there to help organize and contribute to the direction.
