I'm nearly done with my part of RFP 4. As I mentioned when I started, I will be acknowledging all those who have taken the time to write community guides. Below I have a list of guides and their authors that I've found. Please let me know if I've missed any. When are the wiki pages gonna be updated? Simply curious since a long time has passed. And u can tag the people who are mentioned here @Shadowlance
The first component was completed by @Shadowlance, and the second component is being completed by @David and @zkott. They indicated they're close to completion and will complete that early this coming week. Once that's sorted, DHG will pay for that RFP and we'll get their content into a documentation system better suited for technical writing and presentation that will live at https://docs.decred.org.
I don't think the acknowledgements will be up immediantly with the docs as they're not part of the RfP and I don't recall if I submitted the document I was tracking them in. It's just something I think is important to recognise the fact that, while I might have written the guides that will be published, I wouldn't have been able to do it without the guides that already existed as I referred to many of them during the project. As such, I'll add the acknowledgements as soon as I see the new documentation online. Also note that this isn't the end. I still have some stuff I want to put in such as expanding the FAQ and documenting the new GUI wallet that's coming, along with fixing any errors that may have been missed during proofing. As with everything else Decred, the documentation will be a community project so feel free to edit it when it's available or just leave comments in the forum and I'll add it myself.
